Commercial Analyst

Based in: Project Sites as required

Responsible for:

Assisting in commercial analysis and viability of Electric Forecourts™ and solar hybrid projects

Key Responsibilities:


  • Analysing potential Solar/Energy Storage/Electric Vehicle projects across the UK, as identified by GRIDSERVE®’s

  • Development and Planning Team

  • Co-ordinating applications and processes for securing National Grid/DNO/Market revenue streams for GRIDSERVE®’s portfolio of generation/Energy Storage assets

  • Assisting with commercial negotiations on Share purchase agreements, EPC and O&M agreements

  • Assist with procurement via the GRIDSERVE® key technology partners

  • Supporting the Legal and Commercial team with day to day processes, always with a view to deliver GRIDSERVE®’s objectives

  • Assist in other related duties as and when requested by GRIDSERVE® Senior Management

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System and Policy (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001).


Skills Required:

  • Degree or higher degree level qualifications in a related discipline

  • Experience within either the Renewables or Electric Vehicle or other cleantech industries

  • Project financial modelling experience

  • Self-driven, focused, results and quality oriented

  • Team oriented and strong communication skills to work in and across international and intercultural project team

  • Innovative with sound judgement and solutions driven

  • The ability to foster self-motivation to achieve tight deadlines

  • Cordial and professional with excellent client facing skills

  • Effective communication both verbally and in written form

  • Computer literate.  Must be a proficient user of Microsoft suite of packages including Word, Outlook, Excel and  Powerpoint, where needed

  • High accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to successfully multi-task
