The bZ4x is Toyota’s first pure-electric model and is a compact SUV with around 300 miles of range, five seats, and generous boot space. There’s also a four-wheel drive version if you need to go off-roading.

The Toyota bZ4x is the Japanese car maker’s first all-electric car – a well-rounded, capable, practical family SUV. Although it’s the first, you’ll get the decades of engineering experience from the brand that pioneered electrification with the hybrid Prius, so reliability shouldn’t be an issue. Want to know what the name means? bZ stands for Beyond Zero, 4 is the size, while X means it’s a crossover and has off-road abilities. Expect more Toyotas with a variation of this name in the future.
