Performance Analyst

Based at: Iver, Buckinghamshire, UK, Office

This newly created role is part of GRIDSERVE’s® ongoing growth plans.  You will be based in the newly created OMM division to help with a range of projects including hybrid solar and storage (BESS) sites farms and EV forecourts™.

Role overview:

Ensure the performance of the assets is above the expectations through monitoring and reporting processes together with contributing to the implementation of the SCADA systems in the Control Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of the Performance of all the sites

  • Process large quantities of raw data received remotely from SCADA systems (and/or similar) and collect their findings

  • into meaningful information on the condition and performance of sites

  • Support resolution of faults and incidents, making recommendations to the Asset Managers on the cause of data anomalies and possible actions to restore sites to normal operating condition

  • Support implementation of methodologies to enhance the performance of sites

  • Support the development and thereafter performance of predictive maintenance strategies

  • Ensure plant performance is optimised at all times

  • Ensure all reports are completed as per Operations and Maintenance agreement

  • Be responsible for the continued maintenance of data management systems, notably the upload of key performance indicators (“KPI”)

  • Support continued development and consolidation of our SCADA systems, including onboarding of new assets when acquired

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System and Policy (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001).



Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar level role within asset management or O&M division

  • Degree or an equivalent level of qualification in engineering, preferably electrical

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ability to compile clear and concise performance reports for clients 

  • Confident handling large amounts of complex data

  • Advanced standard MS Office suite, strong EXCEL skills i.e. VLOOK UP, PIVOT etc.

f-motivated, focused, results and quality oriented

  • Team player, effective communicator

  • The ability to achieve tight deadlines.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of SCADA systems

  • Knowledge of Solar PV or other renewables operations

  • Experience in the tracking, resolution and reporting of issues

  • Experience in the production of client reports.
