Doesn’t the idea of 1000 free miles of green motoring sound like just the ticket? We agree, which is why GRIDSERVE Car Leasing, the EV and charging specialists, is offering 1000 miles of free charging* for every car leased this May and June. Think about it; you get to cut your transport costs and enjoy all the benefits that come with driving an electric car.
What could you do with 1000 miles of free charging?
- Almost 100 trips to and from work! 1000 miles of free charging could cover approximately 96 days of an average workday commute.
- A whole year of school runs! For all the parents among us, it could cover approximately 208 days of the average school run. That’s more than one whole year of school days, so maybe factor in after school clubs and all-important birthday parties, too.
- Complete the Three Peaks Challenge twice! If you’re the outdoorsy type, 1000 miles of free charging could give you enough charge to complete the National Three Peaks route of 462 miles twice whilst charging on renewable energy from the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway.
- Drive from Lands' End to John o’ Groats. Our GRIDSERVE Electric Highway chargers cover the length and breadth of the country, from Lands' End to John o’ Groats, so if you’re into UK trips, we've got you covered.

Why should I lease an electric car?
Put simply, electric car leasing is a cost-effective and straightforward way to transition to an electric car. With fixed monthly payments, no depreciation worries and optional maintenance plans, it’s a simple way to take a step into this latest and ever-evolving technology without making a long-term commitment of purchasing the vehicle outright.
With fuel costs rising across the board, running an electric car remains significantly cheaper than petrol and diesel alternatives.
GRIDSERVE also works with a wide range of finance partners to help drivers find the most suitable and affordable options for them.
The best part is that GRIDSERVE has developed a Sun-to-Wheel energy ecosystem, to ensure that every kWh used across the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway is replaced with net zero energy, which makes it easy for everybody to play their part.
The fine print
The GRIDSERVE 1000 miles offer is delivered to customers by £125 of charging pre-loaded onto an RFID card. The exact mileage may vary depending on vehicle types, driver behaviour and other factors. The 1000 miles figure is calculated using an average consumption of 4 miles / kWh, so gives the user 250 kWh of energy at GRIDSERVE’s Electric Super Hub pricing.
