If you’re considering leasing an Audi electric car, take a look at the four-door e-tron GT. This is part of the e-tron range of fully electric vehicles that Audi has been working on since 2009. The GT was released in 2021 alongside the Q4 e-tron, and just two years after the first Audi EV: the e-tron.
It’s safe to say that the e-tron GT is unique. In fact, it’s been referred to as a Porsche in an Audi’s body. What you’re getting here is the unrivalled power, precision, and performance of a Porsche in the unmistakably luxurious housing of an Audi. It’s no wonder Audi considers the GT to be a work of art.
Key highlights
There are two major highlights we can’t afford to ignore with the e-tron GT. The first is that this model was developed at the state-of-the-art Bollinger Hofe production site in Germany. This is the same facility that brought us the Audi R8, so you have complete confidence that quality is truly second to none.
The second is the notably minimalistic interior that puts the driver at the heart of the experience. There’s an almost monoposto-style layout upfront, with fewer frills and more focused precision. While this is very clearly not a racing-style single-seater, it definitely has the feel of one. The compact cockpit creates a massively spacious feel that’s perfect for those long journeys – which the GT does almost effortlessly.
Performance & range
Both performance and range on the e-tron GT are excellent. The car is capable of going from 0-62 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds, and can travel for up to 298 miles before it requires a recharge.
And if charging is a primary consideration when it comes to EV leasing, you’ll be pleased to know that the e-tron GT takes just 5 minutes to build enough power to travel 62 miles, and can go from 5% to 80% in as little as 23 minutes. It charges at home, or at 200,000+ charging points located all across Europe.

Similar models
If Audi isn’t your first choice for electric car leasing, don’t worry. The e-tron GT shares a huge number of architectural, technological, and performance-related qualities with the Porsche Taycan. In fact, the position of the motor, the wheelbase, and the battery are all practically identical. The Tesla Model S is similar, too, adding just a touch more space and an alternative onboard tech system. Discover more here.
