The BMW iX3 is a fully-electric version of the hugely popular X3 family SUV. On the outside, only a few blue accents and slightly more streamlined alloys help distinguish the iX3 from its internal combustion engine siblings, but the driving experience is in a league of its own. This is a comfortable, practical family SUV that is well worth putting on your shopping list.
Key highlights of the BMW iX3
The BMW iX3 is one of the comfiest mid-sized family SUVs available. It also boasts one of the most intuitive infotainment systems on sale, with just the right mix of touchscreen and physical buttons to perform all your major commands. Perfect if you're shuttling a car full of kids to swimming practice. With a 510-litre boot and plenty of space for five people inside, the iX3 is perfectly sized for a family SUV, plus there are the usual storage spaces and USB connections. And like the rest of the BMW iX range, it features clever regen braking settings to help maximise range.
BMW iX3 performance and range
The iX3 has a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 292bhp, which achieves 0-62mph in 6.8 seconds – hot hatch performance for a family SUV. The 80kWh battery will give you 285 miles of range and it’s capable of 150kW charging which will get you back on the move in no time. The standard is M Sport with M Sport Pro also available as a leasing option.

BMW is one of the most popular car brands in the world, and for good reason. The iX3 is the all-electric version of the well-liked X3 family SUV and provides a strong level of comfort and practicality to go along with the impressive range and performance. Considering its class, it’s also available at an attractive price when leased with GRIDSERVE Car Leasing.
Leasing a BMW iX3 with us can help you get a head start, such as access to our hundreds of EV chargers throughout the country at our Electric Hubs and Electric Super Hubs that make up the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway, and you’ll also receive expert customer care every step of the way from our experienced car leasing team.
When looking to lease the BMW iX3, there are two editions available in the form of the M Sport and M Sport Pro.
The M Sport version of the iX3 is well equipped, coming with 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, with BMW’s latest media system with sat nav and phone connectivity, plus pre-heating and automatic air-conditioning.
The higher spec model, the M Sport Pro upgrades to 20-inch alloy wheels along with parking assist technology, a head-up display and noise-reducing glass.
If you have selected a personal car lease for your iX3 deal then your price will automatically include VAT, whereas a business car lease is excluding VAT. This is why personal deals are listed as being slightly more expensive than business deals.
The price of your iX3 lease deal will depend on the specifications included in the contract as well as the exact model that you go for. Factors that will affect your monthly payment amount include the length of the deal, whether it’s a personal or business lease, the annual mileage, and the initial rental payment period.
