The Vauxhall Combo Electric is a compact yet oh-so-capable commercial vehicle. Although there is only one battery option to choose from, there are two trim levels, two lengths and a five-seater crew van. There’s also a passenger car version with a choice of five or seven seats.

Key highlights

The L1 panel version comes with a single nearside sliding side door while the L2 panel and crew van, which gets a three-seat bench seat in the second row, benefit from twin sliding side doors. The shorter L1 is the best option if you need to carry the most weight in your Combo Electric, with a payload of 803kg. By comparison, the longer L2 version offers a 751kg payload. All models receive DAB digital radio, an eight-inch touchscreen, smartphone connectivity and rear parking sensors.

Performance and range

The Combo Electric has a respectable 175-mile range and a 0-62mph time of 11.7 seconds. There are three driving modes - Eco, Normal and Power - that help you maximise efficiency, while 100kW-capable charging ensure you can plug into a GRIDSERVE Electric Super Hub and go from 0-80% State of Charge (SoC) in just 30 minutes.
