Within its first six months of operation, GRIDSERVE’s Stevenage Electric Forecourt® has scooped the Alternative Fuels Outlet Award at the prestigious Forecourt Trader Awards.
Located near Junction 7 of the A1(M), this state-of-the-art facility features 30 EV charging bays, including 24 high-power bays with up to 360kW of power. This means the latest electric vehicles are now able to add 100 miles of range in less than 10 minutes.
As the fourth iteration of GRIDSERVE’s multi-award-winning Electric Forecourt® concept, it also delivers an exceptional experience by combining the UK’s fastest ‘on the go’ charging with first-class facilities including Costa Coffee, Little Fresh and a lounge area with free WiFi.
Judges praised the fastidious nature of GRIDSERVE’s internal quality audits and its focus on EV charger performance, reliability and accessibility, ensuring that any driver can charge as quickly as possible, before continuing their onward journey.
Jack Short, Forecourt Regional Manager, said: “GRIDSERVE continues to demonstrate that the EV charging experience can be fundamentally better than filling your car with petrol or diesel. This award is also proof, if it were needed, of the awesome team at Stevenage who are committed to delivering excellent service at every touchpoint, while promoting a culture of pride and professionalism.”
The Stevenage Electric Forecourt exclusively offers 100% electric vehicle charging, powered by net zero carbon energy as part of GRIDSERVE’s mission to move the needle on climate change.
