The Citroen e-Relay is the big brother to the e-Berlingo and e-Dispatch, with the space to take on anything you can throw at it. It’s available in a range of sizes and layouts to give you complete flexibility to pick a style that suits you. Although made by Citroen, the Relay is switched to all-electric by conversion specialists BEDEO.

Key highlights

You get three length options in the e-Relay with up to 15m³ capacity and a maximum payload of 1,150kg. Even better, the size of battery you opt for (there are two) doesn’t impact the capacity as they’re tucked away under the floor. The e-Relay relies on buttons to select drive modes while the rear view mirror doubles up as a screen – all part of the work BEDEO have done to convert the van into an all-electric vehicle. The e-Relay offers a good standard kit list including touchscreen with sat nav, smartphone connectivity and cruise control to make driving easy. Citroen also offers an extensive accessories list to tailor your van to your job.

Performance and range

As we mentioned, you can choose between two batteries – a 37kWh option which delivers 73 miles and is perfect for last mile deliveries in town and the larger 75kWh battery which will run for an impressive 154 miles on a single charge. It’s not the fastest off the line as you might expect for a large van but it’s smooth and comfortable on the road.
