The Vauxhall Vivaro Electric is the crowning jewel in the brand’s electric commercial vehicle portfolio and with good reason. It has won multiple accolades and awards for its blend of practicality, performance and range at the right price.

The Vivaro Electric comes with the choice of two battery packs, standard L1 and longer L2 sizes plus three trim levels. The range-topping GS trim level features adaptive crise control, blind spot indicators and a reversing camera. Regardless of which version you choose, all have a 1,000kg towing capacity and offer more than a tonne of payload.

Performance and range

Vauxhall says the maximum driving range for the Vivaro Electric is 205 miles, but you’ll need the larger 75kWh battery for this, which slightly compromises the amount of payload the van can carry - as a general rule, the biggest payload often corresponds with the smallest battery pack. The smaller 50kWh Vivaro Electric has a 143-mile range. Having 100kW-capable charging on both battery sizes increases the convenience factor, offering some of the fastest charging rates this segment offers.
