GRIDSERVE has been named ‘Charging Network of the Year’ by automotive publication Electrifying.com in its prestigious 2026 Electrifying Awards.
The Electrifying Awards celebrate the vehicles, technologies and companies that represent genuine progress for drivers and the wider Electric Vehicle (EV) sector. Electrifying.com, founded five years ago by Ginny Buckley and backed by an industry-leading editorial team, is the UK’s fastest-growing electric car platform and reaches around one million potential EV buyers and drivers each month.

With almost 200 locations nationwide and coverage spanning 85% of the UK motorway network, GRIDSERVE is now the country’s most-used public charging network.

The recognition comes as GRIDSERVE ends 2025 on a high, with the five-year anniversary of its Electric Forecourt format, the opening of the UK’s largest ultra-rapid EV charging station in Moto Exeter, the commissioning of a new generation of Super Hubs with Extra MSA and the final preparations towards its first public eHGV Hub, marking the first step in delivering a nationwide charging network for electric trucks.
