To find a charging location, you can use our interactive map which provides real time updates on the status, speed, connector type and availability of chargers across the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway. Just type an area, postcode or motorway into the search bar and browse for a suitable site. This is the best place to find the most up to date information on our network.
However, you can also check out Zap-Map which is a great tool not only to find GRIDSERVE locations but also to plan your journey. GRIDSERVE chargers also appear on a variety of wayfinding apps and maps including but not limited to Google Maps, Waze and TomTom.
Charging with us is super simple.
Paying for your energy on the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway is really easy and we don’t ask you to download an app or sign up for membership.
To pay, simply tap your contactless card or device against the payment terminal, including Visa Card, Master Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.
There’s no need to download an app or sign up for membership to use the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway. Our chargers accept contactless payment and this will always remain an option.
Our team is working hard behind the scenes to create an app and membership scheme.
We provide a self-service portal for all our contactless customers to get their receipt. Receipts become available on our portal three days after your charge session ends.
Our digital receipts portal allows you to view, download or print your receipts at your own convenience.

We ask a series of questions in order to identify your charging session.
You will need the following information:
The last 4 digits of your card number | Note that smart devices will have a “Virtual account number” |
The location of your charge session | Select the location from the drop down |
The amount of the transaction | This you can get from your bank statement from “GRIDSERVE UK OMM L” |
The date of your charging session | This will be the same date as your transaction |
