Our Electric Hubs, Electric Super Hubs, Electric Retail Hubs and Electric Destination Huns are located across the UK, offering a combination of High Power, Medium Power and Low Power chargers.

An Electric Hub is the term applied to our Medium Power EV charging sites at locations across the UK including motorway service stations and destination hubs.

Electric Hubs have Medium Power chargers up to 60kW, as well as AC Type 2 provision, either as part of an integrated unit or delivered via standalone pedestals.

Our Medium Power chargers are equipped with dual charging capability so two cars can charge at the same time, with charging power shared between the two vehicles.

Electric Super Hubs, as the name suggests, are designed to offer a superior EV charging experience. They’re equipped with the  latest High Power chargers to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

These are located at motorway service stations across the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway, including but not limited to destinations like Exeter, Rugby, Swansea, Thurrock, Burton-in-Kendal and Wetherby Services. We are continuing to open all-new Electric Super Hubs across the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway.

It’s useful for EV drivers to know that some of these sites also have Medium Power and Low Power chargers (Type 2) available. too.

You can remotely check each charger’s capability and power, as well as its availability status (‘available’, ‘in use’, or ‘unavailable’) through the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway map here or via our GRIDSERVE app.

Electric Retail Hubs provide a combination of High Power and Medium Power chargers at popular shopping destinations and retail parks across the UK.

They allow you to top up while you shop for complete convenience.

Electric Destination Hubs provide electric vehicle charging at places you already visit and stay for longer periods, such as Mollies Motel & Diner, where you’ll find Medium and Low Power charging to top up your car while you’re enjoying yourself.

Top tip: Finding a location

You can enter any location name or postcode into our the GRIDSERVE Electric Highway online map or the GRIDSERVE app to find the nearest charging locations in that area. When you select a charging location, it will display the maximum charging power available at each connector.
